Father's Day Ideas in the Seacoast |
Searching for that special gift? Get him a great gift and support a locally-owned Seacoast business all at the same time! Here are some of our favorites ideas:
- Buy him a round of golf at any of the numerous golf courses in the Seacoast. Some of our favorites include The Oaks in Somersworth, Apple Hill Golf Club in Kingston and Breakfast Hill Golf Club in Greenland.
- Take him to an escape room such as Monkey Mind Escape Rooms in Portsmouth or Beyond Escape in Durham for a fun activity the whole family can do together.
- For the fit Dad, buy him a membership to a local gym. Some choices in the area are Seacoast Athletics in North Hampton, Seacoast Kettlebell in Dover, and F45 Training in Portsmouth.
- If Dad is into sports and the outdoors, purchase a gift certificate at a sporting goods store such as Philbrick's Ski, Board and Bike in Dover, Runner's Alley in Portsmouth or Cinnamon Rainbows Surf Co in North Hampton. Or sign up and run the 16th annual Father's Day 5K in Dover.
- Take Dad out for a show. There are several theaters and venues to choose from in the Seacoast, including The Music Hall and Prescott Park Arts Festival in Portsmouth. For another option, The Press Room in Portsmouth is hosting a Father's Day Punk Rock Matinee.
- For the Dad who enjoys a tasty brew, take him to a local craft brewery for a beer. Some breweries have live music and full food menu, so you can make a whole afternoon or evening out of it! Throwback Brewery in North Hampton is open during regular business hours on Father's Day and offering a special DAD IPA.
- If you want to enjoy the sunshine and one of nature's summer bounties, take dad strawberry picking. Applecrest Farm is hosting its second Strawberry Festival over Father's Day weekend.
- Take to the waves and spend the day at one of the Seacoast's local beaches.
- If sand isn't your thing and dad is more of the adventurous type, head to Water Country in Portsmouth for their annual Father's Day Flop.
