Little Dunes is New Hampshire's first indoor sand play space, located at 7 Lafayette Road, Unit C in North Hampton. We are open to children of all ages, there is no minimum age requirement, and offer a clean, climate-controlled environment where little ones can dig, build, pour, and explore through open-ended sensory play every day of the year, rain or shine.
Our space was founded by a licensed Occupational Therapist with a deep understanding of child development and the power of sensory play. Sand is one of the most effective play materials available to young children, it builds fine motor strength, supports sensory processing, encourages imaginative play, and provides the kind of calming, grounding input that helps children of all temperaments and abilities thrive. At Little Dunes, that kind of play is available to Seacoast families 365 days a year in a safe, intentional, and beautifully maintained environment. We hold ourselves to an exceptional standard of cleanliness.
In addition to rigorous daily cleaning, Little Dunes uses Visium Far-UVC lighting technology, which continuously inactivates airborne and surface pathogens throughout our operating hours and after we close, so families can feel genuinely good about where their children play. Little Dunes offers several ways to visit and play. Drop-in visits are available at $20 per child with adults always free, no reservations required on weekdays, with scheduled sessions on weekends to keep the space relaxed and never overcrowded. Monthly and annual memberships are available for families who want to make Little Dunes part of their regular routine, starting at $79 per month for one child. A 10-session Multipass is also available at $149, valid for any child in the family with no monthly commitment.
Birthday parties at Little Dunes are a truly stress-free experience. Every party includes 90 minutes of open sand play followed by 30 minutes in our private party area, with themed decorations, paper goods, silverware, and party favor buckets all included. Setup and cleanup are handled by our dedicated party host, you simply show up and celebrate. We offer semi-private parties starting at $399 and full facility buyouts starting at $799, with themed options including Mermaid, Pirate, Ocean, and custom themes. Parties are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Beyond open play and parties, Little Dunes offers structured programming and classes designed with child development at the center, including sensory play sessions, parent-and-child classes, and seasonal events for Seacoast families.
